Name Monsters
In term 2 we made name monsters. Here are some instructions...
1. Get coloured paper.
2. Fold your paper in half landscape.
3. Write your name in capital block letters that touch each other.
4. Cut out the block letters while keeping both sides of the paper together.
5. Unfold the name and stick the name onto a black piece of paper.
6. Using pastals, colour the black paper in so that your name looks like a monster.

Clumsy Spike
Sore eyes
Spiky, red and white
Long, carrot shaped nose
Horns
Big
And Clumsy
He stomps
“Boom boom”
When he stomps
On sticks
‘Crackle crackle”
He sounds like a dinosaur
He lives in an
Under ground
Spike Cave
He slips in puddles…...
Belly Flops
And
Bounces…”boing”
Back up!
He cooks on a stove
But
Not
In a pot
From a borrowed kitchen
Across the road
And
Takes its back to his
Spike Cave
He eats…..
Jelly
Pop corn
Chocolate
Rotten banana’s
Vege ice cream
Soup smoothie
Worm juice
People’s hair
He dances in his sleep
When he wakes up in the morning
Guess where he is?
In the wardrobe!!
Ms Donald read us this story called “The Little Shop Of Monsters” by R L Stine
WALT
We are learning to create our own class monster.
We had to come up with ideas on…..
What it looked like
The colour of it’s fur
Other features like …..eyes, nose and horns
It’s name
What it ate
Where it lived
What it likes to do
We wrote a class poem about our monster

Room 13 and 1's Mighty, Magic, Mysterious Measurement Maths
We were put in groups and had to come up with a question about....
Perimeter
Length
Speed
Height
Weight
Time
Area
We then needed to use equipment to help solve our question.
Next we had a go at figuring it out in our groups.
Mr Lobb and Mr Arnold took videos and photos of us solving our question.
